Kansas City Chiefs State They Are Aware of Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening stating they are aware of claims of abuse circulated in social media posts by a former girlfriend of player the athlete and were in contact with the league office.

The organization omitted the name of the player by name in their announcement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Claims Posted on Social Media

The woman, who also did not mention the athlete by name, posted a series of photos on social media that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. Jones did say the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs drafted in the second round.
