Nearly Ninety Air Travels Linked to Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airports

A review has identified that close to 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly arrived at and departed from UK airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who allege they were exploited by the convicted child sex offender.

Aviation Records Uncover Trail of Movement

These aviation records were part of a trove of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the past year. The investigation identified 87 flights connected to Epstein – including many that were previously unknown – landing or taking off from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel

Unidentified “females” were recorded among the individuals entering and exiting the UK. Notably, 15 of these British airport journeys happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a child.

“It was ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his operations in the country,” stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.

British Victims and Court Cases

A statement from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that individual has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support reopening the probe.” They commented, “Should new and relevant information be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the disclosure of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

A bill to disclose all files held by the US government in regarding Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of papers are anticipated to be released.

In a related development, a US judge ordered last week that the department could publicly release evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
